no. read your owners manual. you want your car to run good?pay attention. It wont die on low octane. it just wont perform and it will shorten its life over time

Are you serious?... Just wondering, cause if you are, it's really bad for your car to go wot with anything less than 91 octane. Causes a lot of knock, and can chip pistons etc.

Just noticed your stage 2, so you better get to steppin on switching to something better before you go full throttle too much and have some real issues.

I've ran 89octane the entire time. But I'll be switching to E85 after this build.

I talked to my brother about that. Hes really good in chemestry and is amazingly smart. He says that it's a good idea, that it helps the fuel oxygen exct in the chemical reaction to burn cleaner. So if he says its good then I use it.

My dad runs nothing but shell, and had to have a head job done on his ranger. He said the inside of his engine was really clean

No we get 91 octane here in Atlantic Canada. I would run 91 due to the fact that you have the stage 2 kit.

the gm stage 2 kit was designed to run on 93 octane, but if 91 is all you have it will still run fine. do not run 87 octane in a SS/SC. even stock youre supposed to run premium. my car hasn't seen anything less than 93 since the day i bought it.

What you do not have Chevron stations with 92 & 94 octain. that's sad here in BC we do (except for during the winter the 92 gets lowered to 91)

As mentioned Stage 2 designed for 93 so run 94! You got to pay to play!

Never run below 91 on stage 2 IMO. Can you say Knock Knock Knock??? Quickredline told you Irving stations sell 91 + so start carrying jerry cans lol.
