octane fuel
ok every now and then i see some posting's with there dyno #'s and running on 91 octane. the thing is around here in texas dfw area we have 93 octane. why would every state not have the same high octane?
Here in most parts of Ohio we have at minimum 92 octane, average premium fuel grade is 93 octane and all Sonoco gas stations have 93 and 94 octane. Also there is one or two stations in the Columbus area where I live that you can get 100 and 110 octane from. So I'm here to represent Columbus in saying that we are hooked up, if we want to run a seperate tune with some crazy timing on the weekends and then run a slightly conservative tune for 93/94 octane throughout the work week, we can

Luckily theres a gas station 3 miles from my house with 101 octane
HAHAHA! HOLLY CRAP! an arm and a leg! do you feel a difference? i put a bottle of octane booster in with 93 octane and my car felt smooth as silk and was a little more peppy vroom!
I generally use Shell V-power 93. Occasionally I'll use Sunoco 94. Just this last week i took a road trip from Ohio, all the way down to Georgia, and back to Ohio, and never had problems finding 93.
