odd smell
so i know when you put on a header and downpipe it will make a weird smell for a while..but im at 400 miles so far and my car has this burning smell and i cant fid were it is...because of the smell i went down and found the bolts were broken on the downpipe..i thought zzp had corrected this with newer bolts in my batch..well i replaced with grade 8 bolts and then the shity gasket wouldnt hold so i had to put new gasket in there...SO now i have no leaks but still get a wierd smell..how long do these products smell for before it goes away...ohh yah and my car feels slower than it did stock..im running zzp3inch downpipe..

Haa you need to get 1/2 inch bolts.
Its not that there bolts are weak, its that they arent near big enough,

You most likely feel the loss of torque. Bigger exhaust will steal torque on smaller displacement motors if you don't have more power mods to compensate for it. retune your car for the exhaust, you will pick it right back up and some.

yeah the 3'' dp IMHO is not the way to go, get the 2.5 and keep the tq and gain some high end. rather than loose anything.
i'm pretty sure that the bolts that come with it are grade 8, i have not had a problem with mine yet. people just over tighten them

yah well i got the 3 inch downpipe because im going to have my 2.7 and 60s in pretty soon..just sucks till i get them in then i guess..haha
did any of you guys haft to double gasket the header to the downpipe..my flanges wernt completly flush and thats why i got a leak..i had to double gasket it to make up for the space..tights were the bolts were but in the middle it caved up a bit..
