OEM Shift light

Do the 07 ss/sc have a shift light on the drivers display next to the tach.
I was reading the FAQ about the stage 3 and relized I have never seen this on my car.

the shift light is only enabled during high octane mode on the gm stage 3 pcm.

its not used for shifting. its used to notify the user that they are in high octane mode.

You don't want it haha, it comes on basically as soon as you hit the gas

But yeah like somebody else said its used to notify high octane mode in stage 3, but I think thats it in the SS models.

No .... only for high octane mode.

you press the cruise control button on. hold the + button for 10 sec, and high octane mode is enabled shown buy the shift light. it has nothing to do with shifting. it is only used as a notification.
