Lol. The 2.2 and 2.0 share the same bore (86mm) the block is the same. The crank is where the electronics will make a difference because of the different reluctor wheel but you can just put your 2.0 crank in the 2.2 block and be good to go. They are literally the exact same block. If youre gonna sleeve it it wont make a difference.

Im still kinda confused.. So will the difference in oil squirters and oil cooler ports affect anything? I'm looking for another block so i can build off of it without pulling the engine out of my DD lol.

That's what I mean by "custom" kit, I mean piecing stuff together like I see most of you doing instead of spending 4 or 5k for zzp or other kits. Like where does everyone get all there stuff and for how much have you all spent

Oh for me custom is building your own charge piping, exhaust manifold ect. I pieced mine together from friends who had parts and classifieds on here. I put my kit together for around 2k. But I had time and the right people I knew had parts so I was able to put my zzp kit together for a pretty good price.

Haha well an example, my buddy Kevin (kennyspec) on here turbo swapped his SS/SC back in 07 before any turbo support was really avalible for it and hand built a large majority of his turbo kit. Did a few revisions over a few years when he then sold it for a Camaro. Was pretty cool actually! Here's a throwback thread of his last build with some wicked pics.

Quad is discontinued. Get a circuit se7en modular controller. All you need is micro switches mounted on the shifter and you have bbg. I just use a 2 stage with a toggle mounted inter the radio, easy to flip as I hit 3rd.
