Oil Change -> Reduced Power -> check Engine -> After I forgot to connect censor

You know you have to disconnect that censor to get to the filter on the LSJ?
My dumb ass forgot to connect the censor after I changed my oil.
Started the car and it ran like ****. Reduced power came on, check engine and stalled. I connected it and disconnected the battery but now my check engine light is still on. What’s the fix?

Sounds like the same issue I ran into. Make sure that sensor is on tight, disconnect both + and - and touch the terminals together for about 10mins. Reconnect and you should be all set.

How long did you disconnect it for? Try and disconnect it for like 15 min and it should delete the code.

car needs to go through a few heat up and cool down cycles and u should be ok..it takes a lil bit, but u should be all set. but it does involve driving the car, so go for a ride and just do your normal routine and it should clear itself if everything is good

i find it easier to disconnect the sensor as well... while using the extension it puts pressur on the plastic clip which is brittle already and it cheap insurance to just disconnect and move aside

Hehehe...same problem happened to me. Change your own oil. What fix? You just plug the harness back in.

I move the socket into position first then I slip the extension on. I don't see it putting pressure on anything to tell you the truth.
