torque spec is written right on the cap, i believe its 18lbsft

Ive found that my filter cap is 32mm. I have a 32mm ssocket i baught for my front axel nut for my shadow that I not longer have. It works fine on my oil filter cap. I doubt that it's standard size, since the rest of the car is metric, but given that its plastic and low torque, it doesnt really matter much either.

32MM is just a hair over 1.25"...so it'll work. I like the filter wrench attatchment I posted because it fits into the tight area as well.

According to Google...
1.25 inches = 31.75 millimeters
32 millimeters = 1.25984252 inches
So ya, it's close enough

This also means that 1 hair = 0.00984252 inches

yea im guessing that .25 is a 1/4 so im hoping my 1 1/4 socket is gonna be fine haha

and im gonna put the gasket on this time and not tighten it down TOO much

but if im driving home and im leaking oil im gonna kill you guys!!!!
