If you look at the last picture you posted, mine developed a crack right where the "Styrofoam" and "smooth" metals converge. Completely ridiculous for somebody to have to pay out of pocket to have engine block repairs made on a 3 year old vehicle under factory warranty.

i believe its listed at "snug" ft-lbs
