Oil galley plug

I figure it's a standard size hex/allen whatever, cause a metric 6 seems like it fits snug but when I try to break it loose it slips inside the hole and I already rounded one out trying. Anyone know the exact key size haha. Thanks.

45 was too big

It's probably that 40 that fit snug but you might have stretched it a little with that hex....I say that because I have done it before. Hell I almost did it on the coil pack cover because some ass bag super torqued them down and the hex I had at the time fit pretty good.

yea im thinking you're right it's gotta be a standard cause the metric 6 slips up in the bolt and then the 7 is too large
only standards i have are handheld and all the wrong size that's why i was looking to know so i can go buy it in a socket form haha

buy the tip of the allen head piece that goes in the socket and use a wrench on it..that worked way easier for me

ya pretty much, they sell pieces that slip into sockets that are like 2-3 inches long and put a 5/16 i believe wrench on it. Its just hard to get a socket with the allen head in that small space...i could do it with 1/4 inch drive but found the way with the piece of one and a wrench much easier.
