Oil in the Intake

Oil in the Intake

I was just going to put on my Injen CAI. When I pulled the crankcase recirculation hose from the plastic intake tube it had oil residue on it. When I took off the upper plastic intake it had a stream of oil residue on it with some puddled oil laying in one of the flexi-ribs. I wiped the throttle body with a white rag and it indicated some oil residue by being black.

This is something you normally see in the PVC system with high mileage cars. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have no performance mods other than stage II and about 14k miles.

Try installing a new PCV vale or get a catch can, but its pretty normal.
