Oil Pan

Hey guys i ran over a chunk of concrete today and I cracked my oil pan. I looked up a new oil pan on gmpd.com and it lists the 2.0,2.2, and 2.4 as the same oil pan. Is this true? I thought the lsj pan was like half a quart deeper. If it;s not true could I temporarily use a 2.2 pan for a couple days till I get a new 2.0 pan as long as i take it easy because I need to drive my car.

somebuddy

it should bolt on. as the lsj is a direct fit on a 2.2. just holds about a qt more of oil

The LE5 pan holds 1 qt less but IS BETTER FOR OIL SLOSH than LSJ on road race tracks...the only reason LSJ pans hold more is extended oil drain requirements for some european countries. Go with it, it is better

Beat me to it..
I road race with a LE5 pan so you should be fine for street use.
