Oil Pan

Hello,
I'm considering modifying my oil pan to use an oil temp sensor from Aeroforce.
My question:
How simple and straight forward is the removal and installation of the oil pan?
I realize there is no gasket, so what is used to seal it?

What all am I going to have to disconnect to get the oil pan off? Once the bolts are out will it be a pain in the ass to get the oil pan off the block?
Thanks,

use this to seal it up after removal of the OLD sealant.

oil pan removal is pretty straight forward, once all the bolts are removed (i can't remember if there are any other interferances) use a pry bar and gently start pulling the pan away from the block. patience is a virtue, believe me.

So where is the best place to get an oil pan from? I dont feel comfortable modifying mine myself if its the only one I have. Id like to have an extra for 'in case' i screw up.
