Ive been wanting an oil temp indication for a while.
I already have dual interceptors, and I found the
kit where you can buy sensors for them.

But what is the best spot to put the
temp sensors? Mainly I'm looking to
monitor engine warm ups, and what
not and just because I want one.
I don't expect the oil tempature
to be all that diffrent then the coolant
temp, espessly since there is a heat
exchanger between the two. I was
thinking maybe modifying a drain plug
and put the sensor there. Or maybe
near the pressure switch, or modifying
a filter cap to hold a temp sensor.

 

... also where is the best spot to put my oil pressure sensor? Ive tried search but all I seem to find is gibberish stuff irrelevent to what im looking for.
