actually it is a radiator/heat exchanger
but that is a pretty cool vid
the cores that are in the intake plenium , are what take the heat from the blower charge and transfer the heat to the coolant which takes it to the exchanger up front to disapate the heat

We do have something mounted at the front, but it's not an "intercooler" technically speaking.
An "intercooler" is like this: The air is compressed (either super/turbo), and then the compressed air is routed to the front of the car, where it's cooled by outside air (an air-to-air heat exchanger), and then routed back to the manifold/cylinder head.
Our car is "aftercooled", which works like this. The air is compressed (super in our case), but runs directly from the supercharger to the manifold/cylinder head. The air is NOT plumbed around the front the of car. HOWEVER, inside the manifold, there is coolant run through pipes to cool the air charge. That coolant is run out to the front of the car where outside air cools it (air-to-water heat exhanger).
So basically intercooled = use outside air to cool the air charge. Aftercooled = use water to cool the charge, and use outside air to cool the water.

Hey guys here is some great INFO about SUPERCHARGED, and a diagram of an Eaton M62 Supercharger (2nd link) that is similiar to what the SC/SS has..
