Angry omg help

my car didnt start doing this until i took it to 147mph, the shut off. anyways now whenever im sitting in traffic idling the coolant temp runs upwards of 200. and tonight at the drag strip while waiting in line the coolant temp went to 214f. WTF is wrong. any help would be awesome thanks.

LOL!!!! Your car is perfectly fine weirdo. Both of my SS's have done that sitting in traffic... Especially in the summer time. LOL! Are you new to cobalts?

yea i am and i never really paid attention to it until i went that fast. its good to know that its normal whew. that pisses me off though because i wasnt allowed to run at the strip tonight after they saw the condenser leaking because i had the heat blowing full blast to keep the temps low.
