Dealership a bunch of noobs...

OMG, I swear I have never had more bad experiences from a dealer then Nucar Chevrolet... The people there are just freaking stupid. There’s no words that can fully describe how incompetent and uneducated they are... I have had many issues with them in the past as you may or may not be aware of. Well I went into there and ordered the GM stage 1 kit last week. Called today and it was delivered. Great super smooth! So I called the inhumanly stupid service department, got bounced around 5-6 people. Finally talked to the service manager who said "I don’t think we can install this part for you" I will have to check with my GM. How stupid can you be? Its a GM part, for a GM vehicle.... The directions are IN THE FREAKIN box. Its freaking fuel injectors and a ecu remap. OMG, I couldn’t even imagine what I would have to go through if this where the stage 2 kit. I called the guy back three times today and have yet to hear from him. I just needed to vent, cause I almost miss my Nissan experience at this point.

To add injury to insult. My brother ordered the stage kit from my dealership too. He called saturn and in 5 minutes they setup and appointment gave him an estimate of 1.5 hours and knew all about the ****. SATURN!

Jesus. I just needed to vent overt the stupidity of my dealership. They have honestly never done anything right but sell me the car....

Needless to say I called Saturn. The dude was kool as ****. I told him I had a cobalt and he said he wanted to check with his tech and to call him back in 10 minutes. So I will be doing that and will update soon. Man maybe Ill permanently switch my service dealer.

Yeah, go with saturn. I get all my work done at the Pontiac Dealerships here in town because the Chevy guys pissed me off. Any GM dealership will be able to do the work for you.

Well I have an appointment scheduled for Thursday of this week for an Oil change and stage 1 install with Saturn. Dude was very kool, treated me like a person and listed to what I had to say. Yes saturn is wayyy better then Chevy in my personal oppinion. He said an ECU remap takes about an hour to do, and the fuel injectors less then an hour, so said as long as everything is as easy as we say it is we will be charged for 1.5 hours of work.

He said he would even do stage 2 for us if we bought them and I will be taking it there instead of chevy.

He even made sure I was aware of my warranty. He said he had a person come in and their supercharger blew on their redline and that their warranty was void because of the smaller pully he installed. He was like "I dont know this but I will mention it anyway, you and your brother know that you may lose your warranty even with these stage kits?" I told him we looked into it and there should be a warranty card in the box, and directions that say what needs to be done. He was kool with that and said he would check it out thursday when we come in.

The text in red above is correct right?

The guy I bought it from was really kool. he knew the car inside and out, and is actually a member of these forums. He knew his car stuff. I really give him mad props as he made my car buying experience a pleasure. Best sales person I have ever dealt with. He even helped me get the GM Friends and Family discount, even though all my friends and family who work for GM fell through. ( I believe he used his for me) He even called me on my birthday to say hi, and when I bring it in for service he usually sees me through the window and will come out and talk to me about my car and my upgrades. Really kool guy A++. After a buying experience like that, I thought the service dept would be on par with his professionalism, but apparently I was wrong.

This leads me back to the fact its all based on the person.

Xenonx, there was no warranty card in the box. What you can do is ask the Service Advisor that you are dealing with at Saturn, to call Partec and prompt to GM Performance (prompt 3,then 2) and speak to a Rep. They will verify the stage kits keep your warranty intact. But, you can not swap a stage 2 pulley out for a smaller one, that would cause a warranty problem.

I dunno yet. I havent been there but I will let you know. Nucar is always packed. I think they are overburdened and there for pass off work and take the easy route.

Saturn is less busy, they are not as big, and from what the guy told me hurting for work. Something tells me that not many saturns have problem compared to the # sold, so he said getting extra business from other GM cars never hurts. I will be looking into making them my permanant service dealership if I can, as I hate the people at nucar.

Saturn rocks for the most part. The did my stage 1 kit, everything seems in order, they even washed my car and left mints on teh seat when I left. Much better then the paper and annoying plastic Nucar leaves in my car when I pick it up....

Only thing that sucks is they seem to charge more for an oil change then nucar. Nucar does mobil 1 for 59.99, Saturn charged me 78 bucks....

Kinda sux in that respect, but everything else went great. Nice people there, and they even told us they would do our stage 2's when we order them. A++

IM looking into purchasing www.Chevysucks.com.

I hope to put this site up to get some national attention to how horrible their service is, and to allow others the ability to post up their horror stories.

I had yet another bad experience today, where they gave my part to someone else without my permission. Yes this was my brother but it was ordered under 2 different names on two different dates. Was MY order put under Chris M no, it was put under Jeremy M, do those names look the same no... F'ing ******** dont know their ass hole from their mouths.

Surprisingly enough, i have also had many problems with the service from my chevy dealer. First, i had squeeking in my windows when they went down. They told me it was due to my window tint (which i had on for over 6 months and had no problem). Then i had problem with unsual amounts of black emissions on the back of my car. According to them, that was caused from the aftermarket tip that i had put on my car (3 months ago). Finally, i had my car in to get re-aligned, and a week later it was back in again to get re-aligned. Just thought i let u know u aint the only one experiencing incompetence from ur dealer.

Yea I was pretty confident if I wasnt the only one having problems. I cant believe the incompentence of these people. I thought nissan was bad, but WOW was i wrong or what. Sorry to hear about that man, but yea, I was having misfires, and they blamed it on my intake. Charged me for looking at it too. I took it home and pulled out the plugs (which i F'ing asked them to do) and they where fouled to hell. I replaced them problem gone. What the hell do these guys get out of junior high and go strait into working or chevy? Jesus

i have purchased 5 Chevies in the last year all from diffrent dealerships because the service at them sucks (well 2 at one dealership after the service manager said i would get A-1 service on the next car and it was still bad). Now I am looking at getting a Silverado but am running out of Dealers in the area.
