Opcon Autorotor OA 3133 Supercharger

Well, through my quest to find the right supercharger upgrade I came upon this lovely unit as the right size for 350ish whp. I emailed Sprintex for a quote on the supercharger, and I'll keep you guys posted. Hopefully, my girlfriend gets a new job soon so I can pick up one of the bad boys for a swap!

That is what HPTuners is for! Plus, 60lb. injectors too! Then, I'll definately need some new axles!

Opcon Autorotor OA 3133

Displacement: 1.33 Litres / 81 Cubic inches / revolution

Dimensions: Length: 276mm; Width: 200mm; Height: 126mm

It looks real similar to the whipple and kenne bell ones for all intents and purposes.

Was it Opcon or Lysholm? They're all pretty much the same.

The only thing that has me guessing is the max CFM is 610 which doesn't make sense. Anybody have input on this one?

Just FYI:

SRM liscensed twin screw compressors and SRM formed a sister company: Opcon Autorotor. Opcon Autorotor parted ways with SRM. SRM formed Lysholm. Lysholm formed a partnership in the U.S. with Eaton. Opcon bought Lysholm. Kenne Bell uses Autorotor Compressors. Autorotor is a subsidiary of OPCON, a swedish company. OPCON bought out Lysholm in January of 2004. Up until 2005, Whipple used Lysholm Compressors. Now, Whipple makes their own.

In a sense they are all the same company but they are different at the same time, so thats a big reason why they wont sell it out of a kit. The best bet is to look for used kit off ebay or someone that has a jeep wrangler kit and a ford escape kit. The wrangler kit used the 1.3l compressor while the escape used the 1.5l. Both are essential the same minus the .2l of displacement per revolution. Its gonna be real hard for the guys without connections so to those guys good luck getting your twin screw but most of the guys wanting serious power will im sure have no problem finding one, like me . Im sorry to say but I dont think this mod will ever be a plug and play that most of you colby guys are looking for...
