Option B

So I have problems with air in my OTTP heat exchanger right now and I figured I'd do the Option B.
I have one question tho. Is it worth it to do if i don't have dual pass. I do NOT plan on getting it.

I'm probably going to piece together my own kit.

I did my own research for about an hour. So now it's time for questions.
Any input will help me guys... Thanks.

***UPDATE***7/08/10

how are you option b guys routing your hose from the surge tank to the T fitting?
i have my goin all the way down under the washer fluid tank and back up to the fitting. is that right? bc i got air up in there right now... goin to try and evacuate the air with a radiator machine later. but again any input would work please.!

and the orifice tube of .40, i dont have. how important is it to have that?

dual pass is still a good idea but the option B can't hurt

when hooking up the bleeder part of the overflow tank and the heat exchanger is there something i need to put in there? i kept reading something about a .40 orifice. is that just the brass fitting or is there something else along with it i need to order from CED's kit.

option b with the ottp heat exchanger should be more than enough to cool it thats what i am going with i am going to have it routed to the stock h/e then to the ottp and back to the stock hose

i agree. i feel like its enough coolant/water or whatever you run in it. its just the battle of keeping air out is my only problem.

thats why the option b tank is there it is thi highest point in the system and would collect all the air i plan on filling it then driving to circulate the coolant and then adding more as needed

as long as it's all set up to flow the way the pump pushes your good there's multiple ways to hose.
just get that orifice in there and you should see better.

Well put in my orifice and at the top of 3rd my iat was 135 and my iat2 is at 199... It's only 80 out right now.
I think I'm gonna re route my surge tank 3/4" hose yp higher and turn the T fitting toward the front of the car instead of turned facing down. Right now it's all the way down to under the washer fluid tank and back up...
When u say .40 orifice do u mean that in inches... Bc that's larg lol sure u meant .040. Lol.

Whos kit do you have? ottp, or zzp? I see you have ottp's h/e so I would assume you have they're opt. b kit, but I am just curious thanks.
