Cool Order Clear Image Header / DP Combo

I just got a super sweet deal on a header / dp combo from Clear Image... How hard are these to install yourself? My buddy wants 100 to install, which i dont think is that bad...

Im looking for any personal experiences or knowledge about the install and / or use of these pieces of steel...

Anything will help!

Thanks,
Andy

100$ is a really good deal. most exhaust shops wanted to charge 2-2 1/2 hours of work and its usually 80$ an hour. IF u dont know exactly what your doing i wouldnt do it.

install is nothing more than unscrewing a bunch of bolts, taking off the stock parts, putting the new stock parts on, and tightening a bunch of bolts.

it's very basic, there's nothing complicated about it. first time i did it took about 6 hours. but that was with no directions, and i had never done anything like that. now i can do a header/downpipe in about 2 hours with handtools depending on how stubborn the bolts are.

$100 is a good deal, but i would never charge a friend to help with his car.

Its not hard just time consuming. Some of the bolts are hell to get to though. Just plan an afternoon for it and take your time.

I think I am going to order their setup today. Does it come with all the necessary accessories, gaskets, O2 extensions if needed etc?

No gaskets. you need to ask for o2 **** and i think it costs extra. they build exactly what YOU want so call em up

Did mine myself, only advise would be to have the right torqueing pattern and specs on the head to prevent leaking. Get ready for a rush to cause this is an amazing set up
