I got the whole catback system for about 275shipped. I have seen there exhaust in a few Super street magazines as well as the net, Comes with 2.5 Inch Mandrel bent piping, catback, The piping is coated black, aswell as the canister, but comes with a nice and shiny tip. http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/

Featuring all-aluminized, mandrel bent larger-than-stock tubing and fully-welded high performance mufflers.
I would guess it's so cheap because it's not stainless steel...best of luck to you with it. Hope you don't live anyplace that puts salt on the roads.

the monza exhaust tips rust easily... but the one on my cougar sounded damn good, and at the price you can afford to replace it every couple of years lol

that is the one they advertise for the 2.2L i was contemplating getting it and testing it out, but i didn't see a resonator on it, and that sort of pushed me away. i hope it does have one and the photo i seen was from stock... if so i will definitely try one out

for those who are wondering about sound.. i can't vouch for the cobalt system, but on a '00 v6 cougar it sounded identical to the borla system

since you ordered from pacesetter, think you could call or email them and ask them to email you a picture of the actual unit?

if it has a resonator on it, i'm going to order one asap

We sell it at www.TurboTechRacing.com and it would have been a lot less than $275.00 shipped by about $50.00

We have the Actual photo on our site..... Right from Pacesetter....

nice to see there are actually companies providing competitive prices

i hate to get this though without a resonator, i think it will cause issues for the 2.0 because we're pushing out so much more air than the 2.2L

A few of my friends have monza. The overall quality is quite nice, how ever I was never really fond of the sound they output.

The resonator causes no restriction. It has a straight pipe through it.

I have been in contact with pacesetter numerous times and they have told me that the exhaust for the 2.0 cobalt will not be out until spring.

I have a really strong feeling that you ordered the exhaust for the 2.2L

that's the one,(2.2L) but it should be the same design, the only difference would be the type of muffler they use

of course, what i was insinuating is that the airflow would be releasing all it's vibrations in the muffler which could cause droning, or rattle baffles etc...

Pacesetter does not have one out for the 2.0L, you purchased the 2.2L system.
