Besides being pissed that Qwik said you handt tried all the combos out there,( and how would he know anyway? Hes supposed to go research all your threads before he makes any comments?) you didnt really say anything significantly different than he did, so why dont you just grow up, stop calling people names on the internet and relax.

Its not like he said he was banging your mom.

I however am gonna say this, you seem to be a real ******* tool. Chill out.

Wow youre correct, it wasnt, I am glad youve been paying attn. I wasnt aware I needed to have my name mentioned in order to point out when someone is overreacting, severely, for no reason and disrespcting a friend of mine.

Like I said, and you just proved with this reaction you seem to be a real tool right now. Perhaps you should calm down, think about whats actually going on here(its just the internet ) and maybe look at the guy youre calling a retard again and then think back to your build thread and what mounts you ran......I think he knows what he's talking about when it comes to them.

First off, i am calm...listening to metallica right now, got a bacon and turkey sandwich heating up in the microwave right now...yea, nice calming night. Second, i could really care less what you think of me, maybe i am being a tool, who cares....i dont. Third, i never said he didnt know what he was talking about when it comes to the product. I stated he didnt know what he was talking about when he made the statement "you didnt have it so how would you know" Plently of other ways he could have put that without it sounding like a low blow. What grinds my gears...not really pisses me off but just grinds my gears is people that make bold statements without doing research....such as the many people that told me "you cant run ttr's engine mount with the s2 rotated mounts" ....they never tried themselfs so how would they know...well guess what, i forked out the money and tested it myself, you can indeed run them but the vibs were to strong for my liking.

Anyways, im done clogging up this thread with useless arguements...feel free to pm me if you wish to carry on...otherwise goodnight and have a pleasent sleep.

Folks if you use a solid upper mount with rotated lower mounts damage will result, probably to the top mount. That I have seen, the poly moves out.

If you think about it, it is like this: The goal is to rotate the motor with lower mounts to align the axles out put trans to input hub, (which was my idea in the first place) then trying to stop the engine from being rotated at the bottom by putting in a poly top mount which wont allow this rotation, results in vibes and damage to something. It may not happen right away but it will happen. So when using OTT mounts (this is what the thread is about) please use stock upper mounts.

Maven thanks for watching my back. Appreciate it...

Never had that happen when i ran both....no damage, no signs of damage to anything when i put the car to stock when i sold it. You claim you seen it happen. Have you actualy done this to your car? There is a big difference is seeing it happen and actualy doing it. Maybe the person you seen it happen too didnt install something correct...iiunno. But i had both one for quite a few km's and draged race more then enough times with both parts installed, no damage.

you know qwik track races his car a lot right? He has seen/tested these parts on the track. How long did you have both mounts installed? how hard do you drive your car? There is a LARGE difference between a DD and a track car.

If a guy who was under contract with GM told me not to do something to my car I would listen.

This site is fine, it's ignorant people that don't know what they are talking about that are the problem.

Good read, I'll be pulling my solid upper mount.
I'm near stock and the OTT stage 2 mounts are great, no hop on the street with mild launches and the vibes are way more bearable than 3 solid mounts. They actually sound good imo.

Are the vibes just like a cold start idle? they don't vibrate the dash like poly mounts did for my old car?

This site has gone to crap because of people like you who lack common sense. When people say you can't run them together, you can't. You didn't listen, and because of it you thought you were the "first" to do so. If you had as many miles/hours of track time with them as qwik did, then you can talk. listen.

Cobalts are the new hondas. These forums are worse than most of those.

For those that missed your dbag post that's spam itself.

Like i said to the vendor that i was talking to, this site has an average age group of 19-20 years old. A cobalt is affordable to young adults/teens. You go on the 370z forums, GTR forums or any other forums that has a car that is more the $20k and people are alot more mature. Once again have you actualy tested having the 2 mounts together? Sounds like you are just going by what you read...again...i have tested it you havent so stfu and stop spamming the ******* thread.
