as noted in the graphs you quoted, at the veery top of the rpm band, which header is making more power. It looks like its all the way at the end, but that graph doesnt show the whole RPM band (unless this motor has a ridiculously short rev range). You used a graph that cuts off at 5500 rpm to show that a shorty makes less power at high rpms..?
As i said in my first post.. my header knowledge come from v8 experience and i don't know much about a 4 banger exhaust..lol

for what it's worth.. 5500 is turning a stock fox body mustang pretty tight..

off topic but back when I bought my 89 gt 5spd everyone told me to shift at 5800rpms. I tried it went out my first time and ran a 15.1. Backed it up with a 14.9 and then a 14.8. A bit irritated I went back and shifted at 6800rpms and ran a 14.42 at 98mph in an 89 mustang gt 5 spd convertible with 2.73 gearing. Only mods was a cold air intake and an electric cooling fan. Even ran down the track on 32psi on 225/60/15 Viper HX tires That last pass was a 2.21 60ft by the way. still have the slip around somewhere. Not great times by any means but for a full weight fox gt vert with a full tank of 87 octane it wasnt bad at all!

Anyway with that said. If a slightly smaller primary size is made for us 2.4 guys id be interested.

Depends on which SBC you're talking about. I agree a built one will turn way up, or factory lt1's or ls1's will... Factory 88-98 chevy trucks would shift out at ~5k ..lol

Anyway.. I'm not saying which header is better or worse in out application.. because i don't know.. but this is a good looking piece and i expect big things from it!
