I went to install OTTP's long tube headers onto my 06 ss/sc today and can't seem to figure out how to get it up past my frame from the bottom of the car. No matter what way i try to put it up through it always seems to hit. Ive installed my bad mabs previously without any issue due to the shorter length. If anyone else has had the same issue any input is appreciated.

Has to go in from the top. You can do it without removing the valve cover but it's insanely tight. Every time I had to take mine off or put it on I would pull my valve cover before doing so for ease.

 

Thanks man i appreciate it. I didn't even think of trying to go through the top. It seemed way too tight just getting my hand back there to remove the nuts.

 

No prob. Ya just spend the extra 10 min and pull the valve cover. It will make your install so much easier.
