Ottp s1 video
you have a lot of engine movement. you dont have tranny mounts or anything do you?
my tune was custom and...well im not going to say sucked. The guy that tuned my car never tuned a cobalt before, tuned tons of cars but never a cobalt so it was learning curve for him. Thats why he didnt charge me for the dyno tune time...had 6-7 hours dyno time and he never charged me. Was hitting 230hp with a rough tune...could have gotten more but like i said, he didnt know anything about the cobalts. I just finished my build on the cobalt which included, Harrop TVS Supercharger, 60lb injectors, 2 step colder plugs, meth kit, heat exchanger, cold air intake, header, 3" downpipe, 3" exhaust, stage 2 rotated mounts, torque damper and a custom tune...alot better tune...25* timing and 11.9 AFR. no knock and after 3 pulls on the highway the IAT2 only got to 149* on 27*C weather. I hit 281whp and 249trq...still needed to work on the tune cuz of the guy that tuned the car first for the 2.8/60 on the m62...still some issues he messed up that we didnt see in the tables but could see it on the dyno graph...power would climb...at 3500rpm it would drop 20hp and then climb...so if we fixed that issue i would have had over 300hp and around 265trq....clutch was holding up fine. This car was my first manual car so when i first got it i burned the clutch quite abit...car has 85,200km on it. I'm in the process of selling the car now and getting a 370z. But the clutch should hold up on ottp....its not so much the kit that beats on the clutch its the driver...if u dont know how to drive stick or race or whatever...u will burn the clutch out faster.
to me "stage" means nothing....gm calls something there own stage 2, ottp calls 2.8/60 stage 1....cobalt addiction calls things all the way to stage 5 or 6. So if u r asking does ottp kit beat the gm kit....yes. As for the engine movement...only mod i have for that video for movement is the torque damper.
