the pcm core charge is they send u a pcm with the tune on it. you then get the crank relearn and the security relearn and ur car can run. then u send back ur old pcm and get refunded. or u can send them ur pcm and they throw the tune on it and send it back. its easiest way if u can live without ur car for a bit. or get the tune emailed to u but u need to know someone with hp tuners

remove torque management. from what i understand tq mngt reduces the torque when you shift so that your internals won't get beat on as hard when driving spirited. have the tune emailed to you and load it onto a thumb drive. then find somebody with hptuners and install the ottp stage 1 kit the same day you can have the tune loaded into your pcm. don't drive your car with the kit on and no tune. you need to have it all at the same time.

I think you need to do A LOT of reading on these forums before you order any mods for your car!
Torque management limits power in 1st gear to make the car easier to launch. It also increases the life of your clutch and possibly other drivetrain parts. (ie. Axles and transmission).

Almost correct. Torque Management doesnt just lower power in first...it lowers power in all gears This pic below is with torque management on in 3rd gear...Notice the drop in power at 5700rpm

Go with...

2.8" pulley
60lb injectors
stage 2 belt
7200rpm limit
remove trq management

if u know someone with hp tuners...get ottp to send u a email, load it onto a usb stick and get someone with hp tuners to tune you....bring your kit with you and install it where they are. You can not drive with 2.8/60 and no tune...my car had a hard time starting up and then would stall in idle with no tune. Not saying i drove the car to get tuned but while on the dyno to get dyno tuned we wanted to see what it would do.

If you can find a local tuner, just get the injectors, pulley, plugs and stage 2 belt. A custom tune will be better than a canned tune if the tuner knows what they are doing.

ask for a tuner in the regional section for of california, there is a guy named Shaun who tunes for $300 with free updates so its worth it

we got a good group of folks from OC area IE area and most of cali haha
i think the guy that tunes is in my friends, but if u go with the canned tune there are a few people with HP tuners and its 100 bucks to unlock it and upload the tune from ottp to your pcm

i believe ottp can alter the torque management. its a very smart feature to have on the vehicle imo.

actually that is incorrect 06ss. You DON'T want torque management settings on at all. It will drastically limit the power of the vehicle. REMOVE ALL TORQUE LIMITATIONS.

is that why on roll races i stay RIGHT next to ottp staged balts? come on dood. all motors react differently to every little thing done to the motor. rather a reflash or a cai. myself i have a zzp s2 with tq management... they just Alter it and don't totally remove it. i bet if you emailed ottp before purchasing they would be happy to alter it instead of removing it fully. ottp and zzp only want there customers to be happy and get what they ask for. just zzp offers it right off the bat or u can fully remove it.

So think about it.. if you removed tq managment, imagine how the car would react...

common sense.

"Torque abuse modes are modified to eliminate bog during WOT." they modify it to be on the safe side and provide same performance as if it wasn't there dood. Before I bought my s2 from zzp i talked to zoomer i believe about it. might of been turbo tim. he re-assured me its safer to run it with the altered tq management as opposed to just removing it fully.

make it 7100 and shift at 7k. u dont wanna float ur valves. and making it 7100 means you wont have to worry about hitting "taching" out. meaning bouncing off the rev limiter when u shift. which will screw ur run

Bold is extremely obvious.. lol..

Safer to run, and More power are two different things.

I didnt say it would be safer to run without tq management.
