which stage kit would give me the most power without maxing out the stock S/C? would i be best to go OTTP S2 or OTTP S1? i know they are different pulley sizes and injectors.. but which will be more efficient for power gains with full bolt on's.

 

stage 2 will be safe

...2.75 pulley on the m62 is the smallest you can run with out over-spinning the blower, however lots of people run smaller with out a problem. would suggest changing the S/C oil more often if you do go that small

 

Alright so are you thinking 2.8 pulley or 2.9 pulley with the 60lbs injectors?

 

Do OTTP stage 2 with a heat exchanger! I installed this summer and I love the car, like its brand new again, just know you'll be running rich (as am I) on the canned tune and you'll still have to get your car tuned. Only issues I've had is check engine light due to running rich which is expected and a little bit rougher cold starts as the weather gets worse but that is all solved with tuning.

Overall get stage 2 and love your balt hah

Hey I just got my Stage 2 kit, how did you do the tune? I am wondering because I had them send a new PCM and I don't know when I will be able to do the crank case re-learn

 

I would say just drive normally until you have the re-learn done. And since it a new PCM you might have to do a security re-learn also...just if you didn't kno that already.

 

OTTP Stage 2 is the shyt, My car pulled so much harder with their kit !!! big difference between that & GM Stage 2

 

Yeah I've been searching other threads, process to do security relearn seems pretty easy. Also it seems like people that don't get the crank case relearn done just have a CEL until they do it.
