You don't need meth to make over 300 whp. A proper setup on pump gas (93 octane) can do 315 all day.

It is a great help though once you start to pulley down.

Stock internals are just peachy on a tvs setup of any sort. As long as the car is properly monitored and driven you won't have problems.

My car has 71k HARD miles and 20k are with a TVS. Without methanol. So, you are peachy. Area47 has more and is fine. Just don't drive like a jackass

i know u guys give a can tune but i want to know on a dyno what are u getting to the wheels with the tune u guys are using in this kit and yes i do know that it would be conservitive tune because it is canned. just would like to know.

I basically have this kit, want me to bolt it on and dyno it and get back to you on that? I won't hook up the meth and I'll run it on the stock pulley and we'll see what happens.

You are making around 270 - 280 whp if your running 93.

 

270-280 with the tvs??? really? cause, i'm making 273 with the m62 and basically same mods (3" intake, header w/3" collector, 3" dp, 3"catback, 2.8/60s, h/e, meth)

yeah and theres a reason for that...its the stock pulley!! thats liking trying to make a valid arguement that people make terrible numbers on the stock 3.3 on the m62. well no ****. but how many people actually keep that pulley when wanting more power??

ANYONE who is running a tvs isn't going to stop with just the blower and injectors. so duh, they're gonna have intake, full exhaust, and some cooling. I'm not "making" anything right now besides maybe 235ish being that I'm mostly stock at this point in time. But, I'm willing to bet if I go downstairs and grab my intake, TVS, and injectors that I can get over 300
