OTTP'S New Mounts
OTTP'S New Mounts
I'm just curious to know how everyone likes the new updated mounts. The new mounts are made right here in michigan. Some of you are prob still waiting for them to be delivered I bet, so when they show up please post your thoughts.
The changes that were made are mostly cosmetic but we did change a couple other things. Visually the rear mount has slightly taller sides and a completely flat back instead of a rounded one. Also every edge now has a nice cnc chamfer. We changed bushings again and had to figure out the best way to get them pressed in centered and straight, this took a little while longer than expected, but in the end was an easy fix. Because of this, any grease that is used to press the bushings in is minimal and this creates a cleaner part.
I'll put some pictures up later.

Need control arm bushings to fix that.
can you give a little more info on the bracket
i was thinking about buy a ttr engine mount and seeing if i can make the bolt holes bigger or something so the mount can twist and be aligned right with the engine

Others have found that you need the solid top motor mount as well as the rotated mounts to get rid of hop completely.
jk guys you truly do an awesome job!
Many reasons. The main being it cost too much to have John make the mounts, we were paying about $285 a set after shipping and duties from canada. It also takes forever to get anything from canada. I also wanted to change the design to have give the mount a cleaner look.
