Our Rev Limit???

I have a question....when our cars hit the rev limit, is it a fuel cutoff or like a spark cut off????? because i heard that if its a fuel cutoff it could damage ur ****, like #4 PISTON! because it is just like leaning out your cylinder. If ours is fuel cutoff then i got lucky. because when i was stock i used to hit the rev limit often for maybe like 2 bounces trying to get every rpm possible b4 shifting to 2nd because it just took me so far out of my power band. when racing of coarse....

I don't know of any vehicle that comes STOCK with a spark cut off. Spark cut offs are aftermarket things used for racing (two-step for launching a turbo car), or for rev limiters on carbureted cars (no injectors to shut off).

It's not that big of a deal.

There won't be any engine damage because of it.
