Ok so that pic was before the cut, was trying to figure out how you got it to hold in there with no marks on the outside

just out of curiosity if this electric water pump setup works well on my car would any one like to buy a setup i could put together another kit...
i definitely wil definitely be trying to find weak links and to make sure this pump can move enough water to cool a hot engine.

my car is putting down a lil over 300 hp with out nos.

I put out that much whp and have zero issues with cooling, so for sure I am interested in your project, but I would not do that to my car. I have other things to spend mod money on lol
good luck.

i had no cooling issues before the balance shaft chain problem...
the hole idea here is to take that chain completely off...Im hoping to see a few more ponies free up...i can't wait to see how quickly it reves with all that off the engine.

ok just took the car for a drive and the highest the temp got to was 185 on pull from a dig to red line in 4th gear.
as soon as i got off the gass the temp began to drop back to 180 quickly..
i did notice wen sitting at a stop light the temp went up to 195. the fans kicked on and the temp fell back to 180 in seconds..

yes as of now for testing..
it is wired key on pump on..
i ordered a kit that i will wire so that the pump comes on at 185 and dosnt shut off till the engine gets to 160 after the engine is shut off...so the water will continue to cycle.

I see a new head in your future if you have the pump come on at 185 because without water flowing past the temperature sensor some parts of the engine will get way over 185 before you ever see a jump at the sensor. You may be to get it to work if the sensor is close enough to the hottest part of the engine and you have it come on at a much lower temp but I see no advantage in delaying it since the thermostat prevent fluid from going to the rad until its up to temp. Why not have it come on at startup like stock and control temp with the thermostat?
It It will work for a shut off because the water will be flowing until it gets down to 160.
