ok well pulling code 0171.....i read what the code was but my ? to you is...where do i start?it's a 06 ss/sc this is my beater car so it's totally stock. the code came on today on my ride home. it seems to be running ok. the boost seems a little low when i hit the gas. not sure if that has ne thing to do with it.

the past few days it has been raining pretty wicked in pa. the car has been out alot.

How many miles to you have on it?

I believe that is a lean code.

Edit: nevermind. Reading > Me. lol

I would maybe try cleaning your MAF sensor.

If it's totally stock, take it to the dealer. It's a lean code probably caused by a leak in your plastic intake piping or a dirty/bad MAF sensor.

Sounds like an air leak. Take it to the dealer. You still fall under Powertrain Warranty.

p0171 is lean code and sounds like you have vacuum leak. we had one come in the shop today for the same concern and the cause of the p0171 was a split hose.
