try this. i disconnected both sensors (pedal and throttle body) and took off the negative battery cable and left it off for a few minutes. plugged the sensors back in and then connected the battery cable again and its been fine since then (this afternoon)

That code should be for the gas pedal itself, not the TB under the hood. They are both technically "throttle position sensors", one reads desired input and the other is just a check for throttle blade position. It's a double system on these cars, there are actually two on either spot, TPS 1 and TPS 2 in datalogging sense, just as a failsafe in case one of them quit so you don't lose throttle control or get Toyota'd.

Well that makes sense I guess. So how do I get the sensors to correlate again? How can I reset them?

the sensor came out when i was racing so i thought i blow the motor, it went into limp mode (eng pwr reduced)

just make sure the sensor is plugged in to the throttle body good.

correct I had the same problem also throwing p2135 and it just gradilly got worse to where it wouldnt move and would shut off. I had access to hpt so I just got an ls4 tb as it was the same price. I am known to have weird stuff break on me.

I trouble shooted first and borrowed the throttle body from my brothers colorado. It started up without a problem so I knew right away what it was.

came back again last night, paired with a flat tire made for a great night.
i'm thinking about just replacing the TB but all i can find right now are TB's for the 2.4 which i doubt would work
