PCM swap 05-06

I have a 2005 SS/Sc that is throwing P1681 and P2135 when the car is cold. Everything I have read says it probably is a bad pcm control for the tps. Today I tried to put a hpt unlocked 2006 ss/sc pcm in my car. We tried to do a vin change and a complete rewrite on th 06 pcm on several occasions but it wouldnt do it. Would go through the 3min 30 sec write and the vin still wouldnt change.

My pcm in the 05 ss/sc has not been unlocked but the 06 ss/sc pcm has been unlocked.

Can someone tell me what is wrong? The 05-06 pcm's are interchangeable correct? Once the vin is changed the pcm will still be unlocked in hpt correct we just have to change the vin in hpt registration correct.

Because of the codes I am getting in the OP everything I have read says it is an internal pcm fault and the pcm needs to be replaced. So I'm trying to swap pcm's with an 06 as it is already unlocked and the car was stolen and stripped but we have the pcm.
