In my opinion no. I consider pacesetter to be a crappy name brand, but that is just my opinion.

I have one on my LS. As far as the performance goes, I didn't really notice a difference but didn't expect to. I bought at a junkyard where it was sitting in the snow all winter and as far as the quality goes it is holding up just fine.

I have Vibrant catback, ZZP Hiflow catted downpipe and CA V2 header and it sounds like sex and with the mods I'm installing now a 3" will be beneficial along with very high quality

::looks at dyno sheets, then looks at header::

pacesetter is junk eh?

i'll be damned. maybe that's why i pulled more power from my lsj than 99% of the people on here. yes, thats it. my HTC coated pacesetter header sucks.

I have the catback but replaced the muffler with a different one. Quality seems good though. Looks like new and its a year old.

i have the pacesetter header on my car, the LSJ version, 1.75' primaries, 2.5" collector, equal lenght, works fine for me, only had it on for 2 months though, so idk about lifespan, but as far as getting the job done, its holding up good, no dyno #'s yet though

Pacesetter is not junk at all. We sell alot of there stuff at my store here and they are no Hahn but this guy is looking for something affordable and Pacesetter would be a good "inexpensive" decent quality brand. I personally have the Hahn but its way higher price than that of Pacesetter. Dont feel bad if you go this way as that is where I started and the ceramic coated header holds up fine.

I had a pacesetter exhaust.. loved it...

The pacesetter header is actually one of the better performing headers. Mod it slightly (make some holes bigger) and youll have yourself a dandy little setup.

Now Brian, you know we are not a company and you nor I know wtf we are talking about....

I have yet to see a current TVS groupbuy car break 300. I cracked 318 on my "piece of ****" pacesetter. If price means quality, we all got screwed by buying cobalts
