they are very cheap to have one welded in (along with the joints) at a muffler shop..

i paid $65 for the resonator, to have it welded in, and to have the joints of the exhaust itself welded together.

It would have been $45 but i used muffler repair putty and they had to scrap all that **** off first.

OK I HAVE seen the product and it is junk. Up here atleast, agianst salt and snow. It might be ok down south where you have great weather all the time or don't drive come winter, but if you live somewhat up north don't buy unless you want to replace within a year. If your just lookin for something until you can upgrade I guess that's fine. Personally I'd rather wait and put that money towards a nicer one even if you do have to wait until somone sells a used one or even a new higher quality one.

I've heard the header is a decent piece and with slight modification can be one of the best for power. The cat back is not good. I would suggest a Magnaflow cat back good sound and reasonably priced

read this kids.

who put down more power with a blower car w/o the use of a bottle on the m62 and tvs? oh yea. the guy running a PACESETTER HEADER on his lsj.

"it will break and rust out in fair weather climates"

bullshit. i drive my car year round and live in kansas city. ZERO issues.

which headers work awesome on ls1's and lt1's? oh yea. the cheap peace of **** pacesetters. which header got copied by a vendor on here? the cheap peace of **** pacesetters.

do more research. higher price does NOT equal better.

I have had the pacesetter catback for over two years. I repaint it with Hi-temp paint every now and then and it looks, sounds and performs the same since the day i put it on.

remeber that it does not have a resonator and that the stock paint will come off within a few months.

I don't see anyone saying that the pacesetter header was poorly designed just that it's made out of a cheaper material which withou applying your own coatings on every so often will rust out and break. But as far as there catback's go same deal as far as materials but there design isn't all that great either the mufflers like to fall apart on the inside after a while in my experiences with them. So Header is ok if you want to maintain it, but I would stay away from catback.

""it will break and rust out in fair weather climates"

bullshit." Where did you get that "quote" from, I didn't see anyone say that either. I'm pretty sure it says in fair weather climates it should be ok as far as durability of materials.

The company that copied the pacesetter header design also improved by using higher quality materials hence the higher price

see this quote? see what i typed in retort to this junk?

just because someone was a cheap ass and did opt for the coating isn't the products fault. it's the end users fault.
