People with COBRA H/E

my friend replaced his H/E on his cobra with a better one and since i need a new one i was thinking about getting his stock one...he said he would sell it to me for 100$

i need all the positives and what it does better than the stock one on the cobalt so i can talk my dad into getting it lol

$100 is a bit much for a cobra H/E. especially if he is your friend... i got mine for $60 shipped from a stranger.

I would try to get it for 50ish. You will probably have about 20-25 bucks in materials (hose, fittings, and brackets) to add onto that. More if you buy brackets (bwoodys). I just bought a 3" wide piece of aluminum at lowes and bent it and made my own. Put some foam on it so it wasn't metal to metal and sprayed um black, good enough for me. Looks perfect if you ask me.

I will tell you know, there isn't much room under there, so be prepared. It isn't very difficult, just hard to work with because of the lack of space. Plum it in with the stocker and you are on your way to some lower IAT2s.

I agree. Tell him that it does nothing for performance.....You want to do it to make the engine fun safer and more efficent.......You can leave out the part that it allows you to run more boost....Hahaha.
