Performance Package

This must be where all the articles and reviews are getting their performance package info from.

No Mention of a price or when it's avalible.

Packaged completely within the SS Supercharged’s FGP F35 five-speed manual transmission, the Quaife differential is a mechanical automatic torque-biasing system. When a loss of traction is detected in one wheel, torque is automatically split to the other front wheel. Transmission gearing, including the 4.05 axle ratio, is unchanged with the limited-slip differential. Quaife is renowned in racing circles for durable, high-quality racing differentials.
Sounds like the limited diff is part of the 5spd manual. Not sure if you can have a F35 gear box without it.

Check out the whole "release kit"

"The Cobalt’s armrest storage compartment is one of the segment’s largest – large enough to store up to five CDs horizontally, cell phones and even a small purse. Four cupholders are built into the center console, as are dual power outlets."

Wow that just won me over right there. You know what that means i can put more dope in the car (end sarcasm)

Well thats good info and some of it was stuff we already knew and i thought there were stuff we didn't know (like above). I think now instead of people searching through all the threads they coudl just look at that one page to find out whats all offered for the cars. What about the rest of yuinz.

on a positive note yesterday when i test dove the cobalt non supercharged the sales guy told me that the cobalt rep came in the day before telling him about it. and in a few months he sayd april -may that performance packages will be available. dont know if it will be the quaife/recaro or legite power upgrades. but if the quaife/recaro is allready out then definatly must be power upgrades.

They left out something in the steering wheel section...something like -> "And the fugly 4-spoke design is truly that of a NON-sports car." Gosh, they could have at least made a 3-spoke wheel..guess that's a GM thing.

Thumbs down

"The console’s armrest – offered only in automatic transmission models - is positioned more than a half-inch (15 mm) to the passenger side, giving the driver more room. The armrest flips up 100 degrees to expose the parking brake handle and a storage area suitable for a cell phone."

they couldn't design this car to have an armrest with a stick shift?? even the cheapest cars have armrests with stickshifts...

The interior SS picture have an arm rest. Thats strait off the GM site I believe. I won't mind it so much not having one but for the passenger it would SUCK.
