phenolic spacer???

I been hearing about this and heard it cools down IAT's and such. What does people who run think about it? Where does it go at? Or should I get an dual pass instead? I tried to look on zzp website under the cooling but didn't see it listed.
Any help thanks

I have it, I reccomend it. I noticed more consistancy with my temps and they stay a lot lower than without it.

It goes between the intake manifold and the engine. Phenolic material does an excellent job of NOT transferring heat. Therefore it keeps your intake manifold cooler and, in turn, helps to keep intake air temps (IAT's) lower.

I put it in and noticed a 15 degree drop in iat2 at wot. This was also with 2.5 instead of a 2.7. So I dropped pulley size and still saw a 15 degree drop. It was about 88-90 on those days that I saw the difference.

I just look into ZZP site and they are out of phenolic spacer. I did found another vendor do sell phrnolic spacer but dont have longer bolts and washer like ZZP provides them. It overkillengineeringmotorsports.com they have 1 and they are selling it for $59.99 without gaskets, bolts, and washers. I dunno about that ? Is it worth it to buy from them if ZZP are out of stock?

Phenolic spacer, I mean.

Hey,

If you want the phenolic spacer with longer bolts, just go to Performance AutoWerks website. They have them.

Or get a stage 3 from zzp for the lsj.

Look in all seriousness, Im sure that if you call performance autowerks, Dave is a cool enough guy to probably make one for the lsj. Seriously call them.

Negative corny dude. I spelled it like that so it wouldnt end up like this: **** after a mod sees it
After 2,000+ posts, you know very little to nothing about this site? Wow
I just hate when people ask questions about SC stuff and turbo **** come in as scream, "get a turbo". Effing childish and getting played the fugg out!
Anyway, Enough of this. no need to jack this thread.

We have them in stock.

ZZP site just incorrectly showed them as out of stock.
They ship same day you order.

Yes what this person said.
I did my dual pass and phonalic spacer all at the same time. The only disadvantage is you cant tell how much cooler you are ffrom the spacer vs the dual pass. But that doesnt really matter much.

Ever since I put in the spacer/dual pass, it was like ngiht and day with my IAT2s....

I also have the OTTP Stg1 H/E, wich lowered temps abit, but not alot. Maybe I would hav noticed
more if I had been doing back to back pulls.
