piggyback install update
well the unit is in , but we are having issues
totally expected
everything seems to work but we are not getting an airflow signal and the car is going into limp mode. because the ss has both map and maff sensors we installed the unit to the maf signal. we think this may be causing the issue so tonight we will try running it of the map sensor signal. we will keep you updated

our goal is to add more fuel more fuel means you can add more boost
I believe the solution for that is intercepting the MAP signal so the PCM doesn't try to lower the boost and physically modifying the vaccum operated part of the bypass valve not to open.
The bypass valve is use vacuum to open and close mechincally, however the PCM has a soleniod that can override the fuction and lower boost if needed.
Thats my theory. I think you need to intercept the MAF/MAP to get it just right and keep the PCM from going into limp mode.

Ray at revitup is going to have so many customers if he can be the first one to provide decent gains because all of us have the itch to do sumtin crazy to our SS's. After watching that video for the exhaust over and over again i really cant wait til it is out and available so I can purchase it.

A great many experienced people have been working on it now or over a year on the Redline with limited success. Often you think it's all good then it seems to find just the right combination of driving conditions and the MIL comes on and you're in "reduced power" mode until you cycle the ignition. Annoting little box!

The SS/Redline is too sophisticated for that.
anyone know what type of maf is on this car

my wife works for caddilac but her techs say that they tried burning the disc but it wont work
thats basically the last peace of the puzzle right now we have power to the safc 2, have tach readings and tps and knock readings
no mil's or engine reduce codes now we need to find the maf type

Try HELM inc at:
http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.a...D7X0LHJVEF6GA6
That is where I got my Corvette manuals, basically the same thing the dealers use for helm is the provider for all GM publications. You can get the paper backs for $135.00

Pretty standard issue from GM/Delphi
-Heated element
-Wheatstone bridge
-A/D IC developing a 5V frequency modulated output proportional to airflow
-typical range 2kHz-10kHz
