pinstripping?

i was browsing through the pic gallery and noticed no pin-striping on anybodys car... is this something that nobody else has? my dealership did this before i bought the car i thought it was a normal thing but as im going more and more through these pages i see now its not.

just wanted to know if anybody else had dealer/fac pin striping like myself..

Mine came with black on silver and some sort of dark tint from the dealer at no charge. I think it looks good but others have said it's lame! what ever.

I have that crazy light blue with double pin striping on the side of my 05 LT sedan.. I'm not keen on it, want to remove it but don't want to risk stratching the paint.. sigh.

It shouldnt hurt the paint, but it might leave some residue. Some goo-gone should get rid of that. There shouldnt be any fade lines since the car if fairly new..

For anyone with pinstriping from the dealer. Do a closeup check of the edges and ends of the stripes to make sure they didnt knick the paint when cutting the stripe.

First cobalt we looked at had stripes, and the dealer knicked the paint on every edge. Luckily we spotted it and just walked out, but im sure there's someone driving around in that Silver SS/SC now with pinstripes that are going to rust.
