i'm planning on doning some internal work on my lsj and i was wondering if anyone could help me out on where i could find forged pistons for my cobalt

I will second Intense. When I built my old LSJ, they had the Diamond pistons at my door in 1 day.

 

hey sunburst how is the turbo build going with your buddy?

 

all done.....just needs to find his factory belt to put on, and wait for his 3" ehxuast to install that will be here tuesday. Just a few minor things, but the bulk of it is all done.

 

im going turbo by the middle of next year and i want to lower my compression and run cams and redo my head. any suggestions on what compression to run and should i just upgrde the stock valves or increase them by 1mm to increase the flow?

if I were to build my own car....I would probably put in some 9.5:1 pistons, a set of cams, springs and retainers.......depending on your power goals or budget you could change some things

 

close to 400 and there really isnt a budget.

 

I hear the stock head is good to about 400....I'd say w/ the cams, retainers, springs and a good bit of you'll get there
