I got a question about the K&N filter. I really like the whine created by a CAI, but I don't want to spend $200+ and risk getting a CEL just to make my SC louder.

How much louder is it with this filter, is it noticeable? I would be willing to spend $40 for this.... even if there is no performance gains

you do pick up some whine, unfortunately i don't really remember what mine sounded like with old filter to compare. like the sound better now.

every IndyCar series car runs k&n filters. not that it matters, but theres 1 professional series that uses them.
