Please Help A Few Questions!!!

im installing a stage 2 on my cobalt today.. do you have to get it reflashed and hp tuners software? do you have to do anything to the injectors before you put them in? and how hard is it to take the stock pulley off?

well you'll definitely need a reflash. do you have hp tuners? do you know how to use it? i'm assuming if you're not sure if it needs to be reflashed you're not that familiar with tuning. if you're asking if you need both, the reflash by itself should be enough, but hp tuners is a good thing to have.

1. You need to take it to the dealership for the reflash
2. Just pull the old injectors out and put the new ones in. I think S2 comes with an injector harness
3. You need a pulley puller but it's not hard. Just make sure to use LOTS of anti seize on the puller

You really don't need HPT unless you're going to 60lb injectors or want to fine tune it. I've heard of people using a non designed pulley puller and getting the job done but if you bend the pulley snout you're fucked. Spend the money on a proper tool.

BTW - You have to take the supercharger off the car to install the pulley.

Then you can't get the dealer reflash. You need a calibration code. You'll need HPT

So this is a MadboostSS stage2. Then you'll have a MadboostSS reflash unless like Onyx sez you've got a calibration code from GM. I've read theres a tuner out there in Az, can't remeber his name though. Let's search......................

ok I found this guy during my search

Psykostevo

you might want to pm him and ask
