Im not worried about the car blowing up. My concern is why the hell it is not working right now, and even with the "GM Stuff" its not even working well with that either. tomorrow im just going to have them drop the gas tank and have them take a look, it might cost money to have them take a look but at least ill be sound knowing it was or wasnt the pump.

the filter itself on the back of the tank. outside of it. typical gm filter and connectors on it. nothing fancy. lil cylindrical type object hangin out back there.

if the gauge sender itself screwed up and had shown more than actual. i can see that. i don't believe this is the case.

After looking at the tune, it appears that the car "should" be running fine, aside from a rediculously rich commanded AFR, probably designed to allow additional timing, though being counterproductive.

I think that tune would be better suited with a higher AFR and less timing.

Also found it odd that the injector FLOWRATE VS. KPA is exactly the same as the ones I wrote last year........down to every decimal point...........

I had a horrible problem with a set of 60's. They worked fine for months, and then all of a sudden one got stuck wide open and it flooded my motor so bad that liquid gasoline came out my tailpipe at idle.

I just got back from the dealer, and it is not the pump nor the fuel filter. The tech checked it along with the tech 2. On the tune that i was given, it does not give any gas for 2nd gear. But when flashed to gm stage 2, even though it runs kinda rich at 10.0 (too rich is 19 he told me and) the car runs, just has a little idle issue, and needs to be hot rodded a bit so the fuel doesnt stay in the cylinder.

wow, this is really effed up man.

one of three things will cause that light to come on.

sending unit went bad.
low oil
bad pump.

i wouldn't be quick to jump to a blown head gasket. these motors can take a crap ton of abuse before they fall apart

Hey steve, it was me behind the keybord.

i think we can both agree on the fact that i'm well aware of what i'm doing here

i tried 7 different IFR tables and i was doubling the MAF curve just to get the car to react, nothing was changing, the afr's dident change .2

i put back a BONE STOCK 2006 stg2 tune with the most basic 60lb IFR table and the car was knocking off its ass at 14deg.....

the wicked high commanded IFR in the tune that bryan sent you is due to me just trying to get the car to react to any thing.....

once i heard it was running out of fuel in 2nd later in the day it became apparent that mechanical issues where behind things.

John, i have a few new things i want to talk to you about, and a few new ideas.
