PLEASE READ! May have cracked a piston!
tow bill. 120 bucks
sitting in the shop 100 bucks
diag testing, 60 bucks
280 dollars for a simple vacuum line that popped off the front of the intake manifold.
Glad you fixed it!! I was starting to think twice about my Dry 50 Shot!!
Those stupid vacuum lines, I forgot to plug one back last time I changed my oil and BAM!! reduced engine power and studdering. I stopped. looked under the hood and Doh!! The damn vacuum line!!!!

Ok it worked fine when i changed the lines now its ******* up again
Im gonna try and ziptie the ends of the lines to secure them and if that doesnt work i think its my tune.
Since you switched to the 2.7, you might be running a tad too rich. You could be getting misfires from being too rich. I've had it happen to me, but it doesn't sound like the problem your describing.
Good news that you fixed the vacuum leak. Next time, use a mild soapy water solution as carb cleaner on rubber is not a good op.
Make sure you zip-tie (small ones) the vacuum lines onto their perspective places as well. Even know they aren't out of the factory, with the mods and stuff we all have it's just an extra safety measure I picked up from the turbo guys.
You also might want to buy some electrical cleaner and MAF cleaner too. Disconnect the sensors and clean them and the connections. You'd also be quite surprised how many problems dirty connector can cause.

bump ok this is starting to really **** me off!
It worked for the the 1st 10 minutes when i replaced the hoses and then started acting up on me. Then when i try and go into throttle the car putts and overboosts than at idle im trying to figure out what is causing the car to boost 0- +2psi at IDLE and the rpms are jumpy a little bit. I ziptied all the vacumm lines now im clueless and ready to trade my car in bc im am so frustrated
yes but the thing is i had been tuned for the 2.7 pulley raced it with the nitrous at least 5-6 times than out of no where the car ***** up on me and wants to be a bitch and not work for me. Nothing has ever gone right with this car not just modifications, but the fact that everything on the inside of the car breaks too among a bunch of other things i dont feel like listing.
