Since you are building the engine, and going to run meth AND nitrous, I would run a 2.5 pulley as well.... why not? also.... consider getting on the TS swap bandwagen or something, if you want to stay sc... or turbo.... erm....

Also, how do you like that 3 piece spoiler? I want it and don't know anyone with it

erm... but with all the cooling mods and meth (spray before blower) and nitrous, there is no problem with overspinning the blower.... just make sure to change the sc oil every once in awhile and check the bearings, should be good.... others do it on less built engines than yours and do fine! its just the heat problem....

at the very least, go 6.5

also with all that power, go full 3inch back

keep in mind because of the fact you are increase flow characteristics AFTER the blower, your boost PRESSURE is going to drop and CFM is going to rise. You could probably run a 2.5" pretty safely, but i would just go twin screw if i were you. You are holding yourself back keeping the m62.

Nice thread, you are going in about the same direction as me. I am up in the air of upgrading to a better header. I have the shorty now with a smaller collector. I haven't gotten a mid range because I'm still thinking I might go turbo some day, but leaning more toward just maxing out what I can with the supercharger. If you can actually get up near 400 that will be great.

I'm working on getting on par with area47 for now power wise. I just don't know if the head and engine work will be enough to get that high. I was thinking I would only see 340-360 max with it. I have been planning to end up with a 50 or 100 shot.

You don't think the TB and 3" upgrade is worthwhile? I'm thinking it will give me 10whp. Might not help the top as much, but I really believe my entire mid range readout will end up higher. I'll have to see when I get to the dyno in the spring. I'll be watching your build and results though. What you are doing now is where I'll be next year.

Yeah, I love it down there. I have gone there on vacation a few times. It has to be one of the greatest places on earth climate wise. I went out x-mas day in my shorts and rollerbladed then hung out at the beach a while. Fog came in and grounded the flight an extra day or two. It is one of the places where you get held up a few days and that actually makes you happy.

people are failing to see that fact that pulley size still determines the final rpm of the blower. overspin is overpsin regardless of how you look at it.

plus with the added engine rpms. do you need a calculator?

Why does it matter if you're overspinning though if you are negating the side effects when doing so?
