Polishing my m62 and valve cover

so since my car has been down i decided to polish my valve cover and m62. first off i have a new found respect for people like euthanasia who do this for a living. THIS **** TAKES FOREVER lol. im not even close to done but heres some process pics.

Here's some motivation lol. BTW grind down those casting tabs on the sc housing and polish them. The sc looks a lot better with out them

so what gets it to that crazy shine u have is it just going up higher in sand paper like 2000 and 3000 or is that just from using alot of polishing compound?

Sand all the little imperfections out of it starting from whatever grit...say 180 all the way up to 2000 and then polish with a polishing wheel.

So so very tedious. Id never ever attempt to polish a blower myself.
