Ported Intake Manifold

For all of you that have ported their intake manifolds I know there are some. How much gain have you seen or felt. There has been a lot of experimenting with the manifold but would it just be better to port the manifold???

If you cant replace it... porting will ALWAYS help...

Pretty sure someone already has a thread about this.. you should look around a bit most people on this forum arent fond of people who start redundant threads...

BTW it was something like 15 or so hp... maybe more... but it does more than just hp.. it gives you efficiency.. which is better...

I ported the flange slightly, basically a port match, and I got a slight drop in boost and a slight increase in top end pull. I'd recommend it.

personally porting just the ports on the intake manifold wont see any gains, maybe 5 HP. The real problem is the design of the intake manifold itself. If you want to improve the intake manifold, cut it apart and port and polish the inside.
