Exclamation is it possible to go from sc to turbo?

i probably should have thought about this before, but is it possible to turbo my ss/sc. i don't care what it involves, but i would just like to know some details about what i would have to do.

yes. do a search, there's plenty of info on this. and if you don't care what's involved, you can do anything to any car.

im going to add to this question and ask, is it worthwhile to twincharge a car? or should a SS S/C ditch the m62 and buy a nice turbo?

Turbo. Twincharge = Too little performance for too much hassle

A intake manifold or some type of adapter plate.

There is more to it than just taking off the supercharger.

u'll need a custom pipe for the turbo, it goes from the turbo to the intake

if you plan on doing this yourself you need to do some heavy duty research. i can tell from your questions that you really don't know anything about turbocharging. nothing wrong with that, i don't know a whole lot about it either. but before you do something like this learn everything you can about what it is you're actually doing.

oh believe me i know. i am not at all in the dark about what i know and don't know. the only way to learn is to practice, ask questions, then practice some more. i will not actually do this until i know every little detail about what it takes to switch from sc to turbo.

There are twincharged cobalts. Well at least one that I know of. There was a video on here a few months ago floating around. They are not easy to tune and its just not as efficent as going turbo.
