So Ive started a massive build on the LSJ in the ION, Im wondering what peeps think the MAX horse power I can get out of that engine with the TVS and say a 2.7. I will be using the ZZP S2 cams, full port and polish and meth injection. Is between 350 and 400 too much to ask for?

 

with a good tune, you pry could hit 350

 

Its not unheard of, but you'll most likely be using e-85 to get there.

 

the top guys with the tvs are either with nitrous or e85... but this thing is no where near maxed out. 350 will be easy with a 2.7

 

on e85/ported head set-ups some have been seeing ~370whp

but dont you have to change out the blinker fluid to a dot 8 to run that much vacuum on the system, safely?

 

this....darkmanx did this.. he was tuned on tvs/e85 and when he put on the ported head without further tuning he gained 50whp and was at like 370whp.

e85>meth got to love the torque. Plus I still havent seen any knock since the swap to e85. Either will get some good power just get a good tune. Im still working on mine I want a ported head. If your looking for easy 400 go with a turbooooo.

 

it all depends on your mods you have or are running and a good tune

 

TVS with 2.8 pulley, meth, injen intake, vibrant header, dual pass, H/E, megan exhaust.

what number and times would this setup be runnin?

hahahaha seen that one comming... but very true...should of just went with the full vibrant exhaust...i have vibrant header /dp/3''exhaust and get alot of complements on it

 

yea thing is the car came wit megan exhaust already, sounds nice now.
im still debating on tvs or turbo swap
